Well, it's official, I'm participating in the Seattle 100! This annual event is put on by 2Fast Trackdays to benefit the NephCure Foundation, the only organization in the world dedicated solely to the cause and cure of glomerular kidney disease. This condition was diagnosed in the son of one the co-owners of 2Fast prompting him to co-found the NephCure Foundation. This will be the fifth-annual iteration of the extremely successful Seattle 100. Last year the event raised $111,000 for research and this year the goal is $125,000.

The goal for every participant is to raise at least $500. My personal goal in my first year participating is $1000.
